World Pride
June 3, 2014
Dear Readers,Happy Pride! To kick off Pride month, I've been tagged in the #MyWritingProcess blog tour. Each writer answers the same four questions about our writing process, then tags the next writer. Read all about it at http://jeknowles.blogspot.com
And I have some exciting news. World Pride, the global festival of LGBTQ Pride, is being hosted this year by the world's proudest city--Toronto, Canada. And I will be reading as part of World Pride!
I'm honored to join the novelist Elizabeth Ruth, Karishma Kripalani, and Liz Bugg as part of SHE WRITES on Saturday, the 28th of June, 11:00 AM-12:30 PM. Thanks to Glad Day Bookshop, the world's oldest surviving LGBT bookstore, for continuing to thrive and to promote books and writers. With so many doors shutting in other cities, going back to Toronto feels like going home.
Finally, I've revamped the jeknowles.com "Reading" page at http://jeknowles.com, where you can read my published stories for free.
Thanks for coming out!
